Corazón Playero has such a beautiful origin story that started from the heart, which ties directly to its name which means "beach heart" in Spanish.

Isabel Andrade founded this women-owned business in 2018 while she was a stay-at-home mom in Cabo.  Naturally creative and needing an outlet, Isabel put her energy and passion for fashion into designing unique handmade and embroidered hats.

What started as a hobby turned into something much more meaningful when she hit on this concept of "wearable art." Living in Cabo, where the sun is intense and everyone needs sun protection hats, she realized beach hats were the perfect canvas for her creativity.

Timing was interesting; in 2020 was when everything really took off for them, right when so many people were reevaluating what mattered. That's when Isabel made a really intentional choice about how she wanted to grow the company. She envisioned it as "by women, for women" and built an all-female team of Mexican artisans.

Isabel talks about how supporting these artisans and bettering their families' lives is their greatest motivation.
