Print at 100% / Actual Size on Landscape paper. Click the button above to open the ruler PDF in a new tab, then print it. In your print dialog, set Scale to 100%, choose Landscape orientation, and turn off "Fit to page." Use Letter (8.5" × 11") paper. After printing, verify the 1-inch calibration box with a real ruler before measuring.
Calibration check: after printing, this box should measure exactly 1 inch wide.
